Opening of the course
Brother Joël Palud, General Councilor, welcomed the participants of the ASSEDIL- RELEM directors’ training for the formation week, an opportunity to get out of our schools, open up to the international scene and enjoy a fraternal experience.
Brother Santiago Rodriguez, Director of the Generalate, has also welcomed us and has reminded us that the very existence of the Generalate lies in the work of each of our educational works.
Mrs. Marta Martínez Casanovas, President of ASSEDIL, thanked for the welcome we have received from the brothers and she has presented ASSEDIL and the week’s programme.

Who are we?
Presentation of the European Association of Directors of Lasallian Institutions by Mrs. Marta Martínez Casanovas and Mr. Gabriel Andréi. This was followed by the presentation of the Relem Region by Mr. Tomeu Martorell, member of the Relem Team.
Presentation of participants (activity)
Participants are invited to get acquainted with an ice-breaker activity. Bingo is on!
Presentation and guided tour of the Generalate
The directors participating in the Assedil-Relem formation visited Casa Generalizia in the afternoon, accompanied by guides in the three official languages of the Institute: English, French and Spanish. After the break, there was the presentation of the districts: Middle East, Greece, Arlep, Belgium South, Central Europe, France and Malta.
