Getting to know the participants
We have started the 13th Formation Course for Directors of the Lasallian Region of RELEM (Mediterranean Europe and Near East). The duration will be from the 6th to the 11th October 2025 at the Generalate of the Brothers of the Christian Schools in Rome.
There are 47 directors of the different educational works of the 8 districts and the Delegation, existing in the Region.
The day began with morning prayer and a fun way for the participants to get to know each other: Bingo!

Presentation of what ASSEDIL is and how it works as a group of directors of the Region, by Mr. Gabriel Andrei.
Subsequently, the RELEM Region was presented to the directors by Mr. Tomeu Martorell. In this presentation, the lines of the future were indicated with a view to the restructuring of the Region into 2 districts and 3 educational mission networks that will take place in 2027.

In language groups the participants visited the Generalate, listening to the history of the Institute, as well as getting to know first hand some of the historical documents of the Founder and the first Brothers.
Star Comission
Bro. Joël Palud, General Councillor of the RELEM Region, spoke about the work of the STAR Commission in view of the restructuring of the Region.

Preparation of the districts fair

The districts and the delegation showed their specific characteristics in terms of educational works, their target groups, their rich offer in pastoral and solidarity action in a “Fair”, where in an informal way, all the participants were able to know this information at first hand.
And then came the special moment of the day when they shared the typical food and products of each district and of the delegation. Sweets, savoury products, sausages, cheeses… once again demonstrated that RELEM’s gastronomy is rich, varied and above all delicious.
