Mrs. Marta Martínez Casanovas from September 2018 is Director of La Salle Horta, Barcelona (the school of La Salle Horta is part of the network of 27 educational and social works of La Salle Catalonia and has more than 100 years of history). Professionally, she has been linked to the Lasallian educational world for 29 years. She began her career as a teacher at La Salle Comtal School in Barcelona where she became responsible for the quality of the center, later she became a Deputy Director and finally she was elected as Director for 9 years. In addition, she is part of the Quality Team of La Salle Catalonia, auditing in ISO 9001 of the education sector and performing internal audits in the centers of La Salle Catalonia. She has a PDG (General Management Program) by EADA Business School (Barcelona, Spain), a Master in High Performance Leadership by EADA Business School (Barcelona, Spain) and a Master in Organizational Development and Process Consultancy by AEDIPE Catalonia (Barcelona, Spain), in collaboration with GR Institute for Organizational Development (Tel Aviv, Israel). She has a degree in English Philology from the University of Barcelona (Barcelona, Spain) and a Diploma in Teaching by Blanquerna from the Ramón Llull University (Barcelona, Spain). She holds a Postgraduate Degree in School Management from the Faculty of Psychology and Education Sciences and Sport Blanquerna, Ramón Llull University (Barcelona, Spain) among other degrees. From 2018 she has been the President of ASSEDIL (European Association of Directors of Lasallian Institutions) being part of the association in representation of the Directors of Spain and Portugal from 2013. During five years she was the Secretary of ASSEDIL, association where she also coordinates the organization of the annual congress of Directors as well as all the activities of the Board of Council.

La Sra. Marta Martínez Casanovas desde septiembre del 2018 es Directora de La Salle Horta, Barcelona (el colegio de La Salle Horta forma parte de la red de las 27 obras socio educativas de La Salle Cataluña y cuenta con más de 100 años de historia). Profesionalmente, está unida al mundo educativo Lasaliano desde hace 29 años. Inició su carrera como profesora en el Colegio La Salle Comtal de Barcelona donde pasó a ser responsable de calidad del centro para, posteriormente ser Subdirectora y finalmente ser elegida como Directora durante 9 años. Así mimo forma parte del Equipo de Calidad de La Salle Cataluña, auditando en ISO 9001 del sector educativo y realizando auditorías internas en los centros de La Salle Cataluña. Doña Marta Martínez Casanovas posee un PDG (Programa de Dirección General) por EADA Business School (Barcelona, Spain), Máster en Liderazgo de Alto Rendimiento por EADA Business School (Barcelona, Spain) y Máster en Desarrollo Organizacional y Consultoría de procesos por AEDIPE Cataluña (Barcelona, Spain), en colaboración con “GR Institute for Organizational Development” (Tel Aviv; Israel). Es Licenciada en Filología Inglesa por la Universidad de Barcelona (Barcelona, Spain) y Diplomada en Magisterio por Blanquerna de La Universidad Ramón Llull (Barcelona, Spain). Posee un Postgrado en Dirección de Centros Escolares por la Facultad de Psicología y Ciencias de la Educación y el Deporte Blanquerna, de la Universidad Ramón Llull (Barcelona, Spain) entre otras titulaciones. Desde el año 2018 es la presidenta de ASSEDIL (Asociación Europea de Directores de Instituciones Lasalianas) formando parte de la Asociación en representación de los Directores de España y Portugal desde el año 2013. Durante cinco años fue la Secretaria de ASSEDIL, asociación donde además coordina la organización del congreso anual de Directores así como todas las actividades de la Junta Directiva.
