Today we shared a wonderful moment during a short online meeting organized by RELEM.
We took the opportunity to express our heartfelt thanks to Tomeu Martorell for his many years of dedication, commitment, and service as a member of the RELEM Team. As he begins a new chapter with his retirement, we wish him every happiness and fulfillment, with new projects, new dreams, and many joyful moments ahead.
We also expressed our sincere gratitude to Joe Gilson for his commitment and generosity throughout these years. As he takes on new responsibilities, we simply want to thank him for everything we have shared. It has been a true privilege to work alongside him and to learn from his kindness, availability, and spirit of service.
Although the RELEM Team was gathered in Rome, many colleagues and friends were able to join online from different places to share this special moment together. It was a beautiful opportunity to remember the many meetings, experiences, and shared moments that have strengthened our common mission and the bonds of fraternity that unite us as one Lasallian family.
Roles may change, but the spirit of service, commitment, and the lasting impact people leave behind remain. Thank you, Tomeu. Thank you, Joe. Thank you for your witness, your dedication, and your invaluable contribution to the Lasallian educational mission.
We wish you both every success and happiness in this new chapter of your lives. May we continue walking together in the service of children, young people, and the Lasallian mission.
